Agility Fitness Dog Level 5 Champion (AFDCH)
To Earn you TDI Agility Fitness Dog Champion, includes a certificate and rosette
Dog must be aged 12 months or over
Obtain the Agility Fitness Dog Level 4
Demonstrate the skills set out in the criteria below.
Please ensure there is a clear view of your hands and dog in the videos.
You may choice the height of the jumps and tire/ hoop that you want to jump. All agility equipment must be at full regulation height.
It is your responsibility to monitor your dogs skills and stamina to complete these exercises with causing injury
If you do not have any of the equipment, please contact me for a substitution
Rules:
CUES: The handler may give multiple cues per obstacle unless specifically specified. Praise and encouragement at any time is fine.
TREATS: Treats may not be used as a lure for any of the exercises
QUALIFYING: Applicant has 3 months to resubmit the test that did not qualify, at no additional cost. Application fee will not be refunded.
Agility Fitness Dog Level 5 Champion Criteria:
1. 6 hurdle bounce and weaves (1m between jumps, 3 m between
last jump and weaves)
2. Six hurdle zigzag (2m between hurdles)
3. Diagonal hurdles
4. About and turns
5. Flick Flacks 6 hurdles circle
6. Emergency stop / fast heel work into a down
7. Clock game
8. 6 hurdle bounce into a ladder
9. 6 hurdles bounce round barrel and back again
10. 5 barrels circle
11. 3 jump pull ins
12. 3 jump go rounds
13. 6 hurdles alternate heights
14. 6 hurdle circle alternate heights
15. 6 hurdles increasing height
16. Jump, ladder side step
